This was a solid read and one I really enjoyed. I like this book better than, the first book in the series "Higher Love" . In "Made To Love" Trevia is trying to bounce back from a broken heart. A man that she thought she loved did her dirty and now she is trying to pick up the pieces. Her heart and mind are on the same page but her lower region is giving her trouble. Invited to the grand opening of her sister club a spoken word artist helps her get her mind off her EX. Can she leave her past behind and try again.Nyles is a local spoken word artist who has the arrogance and the self confidence to showcase his talents from his poems to the ladies. Nyles spots Trevia in the audience at one of his shows and was unable to meet her because there was something about her. He thought she was the one that got away. A chance meeting puts Trevia and Nyles together and oh my the sparks fly. Trevia and Nyles has to do battle with her past and this books takes us on a journey to see if they can survive and be together.
This book was nicely written and poetry that the author used in this book makes you want to look at that special someone in your life and say why can't you say those kinds of things to me. Really enjoyed the book and can't wait for the next book in the series. well done Alexandria House !!!!

This author never disappoints. I enjoyed this book very much. Wished it went a little more into Trevia’s sister and her relationship but I understand why it didn’t. Maybe that’ll be a good spin off novel.
I enjoyed this story! It captures your attention from jump but it does have one draw back. I couldn't take Trevia 's indecisiveness. Women say they want a good man and when they get one they almost lose them behind indescrections of other men. Loved how well Nyles was written. A strong man who had his stuff together. Well written Alexandria! 👏
I enjoyed Trevia and Nyles's story. Trivia was definitely a character. And the whole thing with Wes was a straight up mess. I kept saying, ' Girl, what were you thinking?!' He tried it, though. I love it when a man is open and honest about his feelings, and that was Nyles from jump. I really liked him.
I love the relationship between Greer, Trevia and Denise. They're all so different, but they get along so well and always have each other's backs.
Very entertaining read!
This book was a good read, but I was not feeling the main characters as much! Nyles did not make me swoon. The poetry was a beautiful touch. Trevia took the breakup with her ex hard and it was a lil irritating how she just kept reminiscing and keeping "in touch" with him. I was aggravating. Leopards cannot change their skin so I wonder why she thinks the ex will get better. The three friends dynamic are great and loved their friendship toward each other. I recommend reading this author
Trevia and Nyles what can I say, but their chemistry was FIRE!! Trevia was hurt by love and so jaded. It only took one look and Nyles knew he found his forever. Once he convinces Trevia to take a chance on him a passionate love affair occurs. However, insecurities from a past relationship and this person is out to win Trevia back, but when the person realizes they don't have a chance they'll try to destroy Trevia and Nyles relationship. Such a great read. Now I'm off to read Denise's story.
This was a sequel, but it really read like a standalone novel. It was much hotter than the first installment but then, Trevia had dated a stripper so it was expected! Either way, the storyline didn't disappoint me. Although Trevia was a little crazy, she was still funny to me. Her new man, Nyles Adams, came off conceited at first but then, he proved to be a confident man and there's nothing wrong with that! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I'm not sure if it's going to be the last one but it's definitely on my future reading list...

Alexandria House has gained a new fan with her second installation of the Love After Series. As I began Made to Love, I wasn’t sure what direction she would take based on Trevia’s backstory from Book 1, but she did not disappoint. Trevia and Nyles’ story is one of love at first sight. As Trevia attempts to get over her breakup with her ex, Wes, she encounters Nyles, a confident spoken word artist, who she shares an instant chemistry with. While Trevia tries her best to avoid any new entanglements and sort through her growing attraction to Nyles, Nyles attempts to show her his interest in her is serious and works to solidify a relationship between them.
House offers a unique writing style incorporating humor and poetry in this heart-warming story. Nyles’ spoken word came across very real on paper like the reader was at a live show. It definitely had a Love Jones feel to it. Between Trevia and Denise’s antics, I found myself laughing throughout the book. House did a great job of incorporating updates from the characters from Book 1 but still staying true to Trevia and Nyles’ story.
This was a short entertaining read that I highly recommend trying. I am definitely adding it as one of my new favorite love stories and Nyles as one of my favorite male characters. I only wish the story did not end so soon. I give it 4.5 stars.
